Carrie was my first friend on Myspace, other than Tom of course...but shes cooler than he is and much better looking. So when I started the site I asked her to be a test case for the Fan Of the Month, and here she is! If so, whats going to turn your head? when i'm single, confidence(not cockiness) and a great smile. i like the way scene kids and surfers look too.

Go ahead, tell us about yourself...hobbies, interests, that sort of thing-
i work at a book store. i still dont know how the hell i got that job.. umm, my hobbies revolve around drinking. there isn't much to do where i am from. give me a case or a blunt and a live band or a cd player and i'm pretty much happy. i'm also starting up my own clothing company. so well see where my intrests are in 6 months.

What are some of your favorite bands?
from first to last, saosin, armor for sleep, thrice, taking back sunday, 30 seconds to mars, alkaline trio, the academy is, afi, underoath, as i lay dying, silverstien, mae, senses fail, dashboard confessional, showbread, brand new
i like all kinds of music. i guess those are my tops though..

How about some bands you cant stand?
anything chick fronted. i just dont like it.

Whats your best concert experience so far?
not sure that i have just one.. being drunk as hell at warped tour was a good one... but
i think the small shows are better anyways. its more intimate. being able to drink and watch the bands at a bar, and then drink with the band and talk about music. its awesome.

Whats the music scene like in your hometown/school/whatever? Give us the scoop on where to hang and what there is to do.
virginia scene sucks. its all 15 year old girls who want to be cool so they dress like they think that they should to fit in. where i used to hang out was an awesome bar called live. always bands playing. thats where i met alot of them. the norva isnt so bad either.. but its filled with little girls. warped tours being taken over as well. the scene here kind of died a long time ago.

Name one band that everyone needs to check out and why-
saosin. they are a little band no one knows about. and they rip harder than most bands out there. their stage presence is just enough to make you want to see them again. they have some videos online. look at the video for "bury your head" and you will see what i see. these kinds play their little hearts out.. that was recorded at one of their shows.
