Ok here I go- The best damn concert I have ever been to has to be Clutch...It was Dec of 2005 at the Monkeybar in Huntington, WV. I was front and center, inches from Neil Fallon (who in fact checked out the rack a couple of times-damn tanktops). They played two sets! which was awesome in itself. The bar was good-lots of space and air conditioning (which rocked!) and after the concert we went upstairs and met the band...who knew Neil was short ;) and that is my best concert ever! so give me the CD!

The best concert I've ever been to was the HIM concert when I was in Germany. It was so awesome because they're my favourite band and they never seemed to be playing anywhere near me until I went to Germany. Ville played acoustic and it was great, I got him to sign my Deep Shadows cd.

Actually one of the best concerts I've seen happened to be Clutch on their "Evening With" tour at the Starland Ballroom in NJ. the vibe of the whole club that night was so great that it turned me from a casual fan to a big fan of the band. To the point of I'm going to see them on 12/29, 12/30 again in NJ and then travel to Baltimore and spend New Year's eve with them as well.

C <3's E who's favorite concert is a show that i was actually in the front row of!!
Aiden with HIM at the House of Blues of Myrtle Beach. Aiden was very good and energetic which helped to get get you more pumped for HIM. Aiden what I guess people call hardcore or whatever but it was nice to have a moshpit and to have that going and then to relax during HIM. Plus it was big of Aiden to go out on a tour where they weren't going to be able to selll any merch. HIM had the best use of the House of Blues stage. They had chandlers and all kinds of stuff. The lead singer from HIM, Ville Valo, took the time to explain all the songs and give a good history of rock music. Plus they gave out free shot glasses and matchbooks at ther merch table. Despite their popularity HIM was cgoing to come out until some 13 year old girl tried to molest Ville. It was shame but completely understandable from this fan's stand point.

The Cure: the Prayer Tour at Dodger Stadium. When they performed 'Prayers for Rain' the lighting made it look like it was raining on stage. It was fucking awesome. The whole show was amazing. Definitely the best show I've seen in 20+ years of concert going.

Rammstein (feb 05) @ Brixton Academy
Nuff said really lol First time I had seen them and will always be one of the best shows i have aver been to, and would reccomend to anyone as the "must see live" band.
Industrial music, a shite load of fire/pyros, and headbanging till your head feels like it's gonna fall off!
woot woot

Skinny Puppy
Last Rites Tour - 90'? - Houston, TX - The Unicorn Ballroom (A closed down Kroger supermarket) - I went to see Godflesh (upon entering the venue we were told they couldn't make the show due to visa problems) - I had never heard of SP at that time & figured I'd go in so my ticket wouldn't go to waste - Saw some crap opening band that I didn't recognize & was about to leave when SP came on - It was the most visually captivating, info overloading, grotesquely alluring show ever!!!!!! I think everyone there but me was on some sort of hallucinogen & via sweat transference from the endless moshpit I must have picked some up myself - But without a doubt that night changed my exclusive love of Death Metal - SP helped me see the ugly in everything & how beautiful it can be!

Hey! Its our wonderful Forum member, winner of a signed Josh Todd poster, and one of my future ex-wives, trashed_and_scattered!!!
well...one of the best concerts i went to was at the hob in atlantic city and it was sum 41! what made it the best concert was that it was basically the first one i went to and it was the first time i saw them in concert! it was an awesome experience...they played awesome and i went with a bunch of friends that made it even more awesome of a time!

and heres an email we got that was just too good to not print!
share my story of the best show i have seen. I have
to say that it was acutally a couple weeks back with
Clutch played at Youngestown, OH. The show was great
and the set list was too. Just wish that they would
have played more older stuff, but the new unrecored
stuff was cool and cant wait for the next album to hit
the shelves....well probably just their merch site!
anyway....the best thing about is was that we were
still hanging out after the show when it appeared that
everyone else just said....well show over lets go
home. well me and my buddy were trying to "sober" up a
bit before driving back to Pittsburgh. I look behind
me and Neil is walking around. I say to my buddy i
will be back i have to go say something to him. I have
been a fan for like 10 yrs now and have been to every
and any show that i can get to. dont know a total
count ... that is my next project. anyway...i go up to
him and shake his hand. tell him what a great show it
was and also the night before in Buffalo, NY that we
caught as well. He was very thankful for the
support and it made me feel appriciated for my long
driving to see them and also fuckin gas money!!! well
asked for a pic with him and he was like sure...great.
we were kinda standing where they were taking the band
equipment down and he said lets move over here and get
out of their way. ok i say. do the pic and i thank
him again. I was just so amazed on how fuckin down to
Earth cool he was and also how short too...but when he
gets on that stage he is 12 ft tall with balls of
steel. Clutch fans will never die!
Thanks for letting me blah blah blah about my story

As usual, I picked a winner at random, and Blue Gypsy gets the free cd! Thanks to everyone who sent us your favorites, and remember, we'll have many more chances for you to win signed merch as time goes by!
