The almighty CLUTCH begin work on new album, tour with Motorhead!
DRT recording artists, CLUTCH are smack dab in the middle of recording a
brand new record at Sound Studios in Los Angeles. Joe Baresi (Queens of
the Stone Age, TOOL, Melvins) is at the helm for this yet to be titled
(but sure to be mighty) opus. It will be the band's third album for DRT
Entertainment, following the already legendary releases Blast Tyrant &
Robot Hive/Exodus
Some of the early song titles are: "Drones & Clones", "Powerplayer",
"Black Umbrella", "Ditchdigger's Delight", "Electric Worry", "Master
Cadillac" and "Damn Good". The band has also re-recorded the classic
track "One Eyed Dollar" from the Jam Room CD for possible inclusion on
the new album.
On November 1st, Clutch will embark on a massive 22 date UK/Denmark tour
with none other Motorhead.

Then, the band will hit the states for a short 7 show East coast run at
the end of the year. A full fledged 30+ date US tour is being scheduled
for early 2007 with a tentative worldwide album release date of March 4.
