(New York, NY - April 4th, 2007) Universal Motown Records' rock icons The Rapture,
will join label mates Shiny Toy Guns, who are currently finishing up their third
tour of the UK, on a 21 city, propulsive dance/funk tour that kicks off in
Hattiesburg, Mississippi on April 21, and ends up in Burlington, Vermont on May 23.
New York foursome The Rapture are also winding down their European/Asian/Australian
jaunt, showcasing their current album Pieces Of The People We Love, which debuted at
#1 on Billboard Magazine's influential Heatseekers chart in September. Their latest
single, the infectious "Whoo! Alright Yeah...Uh Huh," extends the band's edgy
repertoire of funk, punk and disco, hailed as 'perfect pop' by the New York Times,
and a staple of their combustible live show, which has drawn rave reviews even well
before the launch of their acclaimed 2003 debut album, Echoes.

Meanwhile Shiny Toy Guns is enjoying continued success and critical acclaim with
their blazing new single, "You Are The One," the follow-up to their smash single "Le
Disko," from their hit debut disc We Are Pilots. The foursome also reached the top
of the Billboard's Heatseekers chart in January of this year after a lengthy run up
the charts, with critics redefining genres and combining adjectives to describe
their unique soundscapes: 'glam-goth-new wave-chic'- penned one reviewer. The band
has become a top-requested gatecrasher to video outlets, radio and clubs, and was
featured as artist of the week on iTunes' playlist. Shiny Toy Guns has also
developed a large and intricately connected online community, earning a
well-deserved reputation as a relentless touring band with a groundbreaking live
show. The band recently proved their live mettle at some celebrated entertainment
industry events, including the 2007 Midem Conference Opening Gala in Cannes, France,
a commanding performance at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, and a
