Nevada, is one of the top 50 of all the states in the US! This has nothing to do with that though. What it does have to do with is our old friend Nevada, who's been coming to the site and posting on our Forum for several months now. She won a signed prize before, and now she's winning another one! Go ahead; tell us about yourself...hobbies, interests, that sort of thing:
Well I'm a college student at the University of South Carolina. I'm a media arts major and want to work with musicians doing something creative. I'm into web design and even though i haven't had much time for it lately i do know alot of web design and most of it i just taught myself. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE music. It really does keep me sane. My favorite band is Hanson which is weird because most of my other favorite music is all rock and alot heavier stuff. I love local music because there is so much undiscovered talent and some of it is just undiscovered because big record labels are afraid to take the chance. I'm a nerd and I love Harry Potter. I will actually be at the bookstore at 12 midnight when the new book comes out. Other then that I spend alot of time with my boyfriend except when he is away on business trips. We have 2 cats who are my babies. I think many people have a misconception of me because I'm quiet. Some see my piercing and think other wise. Either way I don't really care what people think except for my friends. And finally I have both ears pierced my tongue and lip pierced and my first tattoo which is on my chest. I think I'm very different but also can relate to many people.

What are some of your favorite bands? WOW that is hard to answer.. i like old metal and rock, gnr, acdc then theres nirvana and soundgarden. i could lick chris cornell his voice alone is just yummy, and alice in chains. stuff like that is just great for me.
How about some bands you can’t stand? anything fake. granted some is really catchy and i'll look hard at the artist to see if they are doing it for themselves or not. but people like paris hilton and shit like that i just can't give an ounce of respect to.
This month, one of our military bases was almost attacked by terrorists who snuck in illegally across the Mexican border. Our president made a speech shortly thereafter about how we can somehow make the illegal immigrant population legal, so they can have the same rights as you and I.

can i pick all of the above? i don't have enough room to rant about him. But I'll say that I have no respect for him cause he has no respect for us. I'd have more respect that if in the beging he told the truth, that he was only going to war for his only personal faily reason. at least it would have been the truth. and fuck bring our troops home. i have every bit of respect for them.
What’s your best concert experience so far?
wow i've had many. probably a local show at the music farm and being smushed between 1200 people against the stage. it's just that awesome when so many people are into it.
Any cool shows or cds coming out that you're excited about?: i have no clue right now. i'm getting the new machine head album and that is all that i'm happy about right now
What’s the music scene like in your hometown/school/whatever?
crappy. there is nowhere for anyone to play in my town anymore
Name one band that everyone needs to check out and why: porcalein and the tramps ....they are just awesome..i like chicks that can really rock
Thousands of people you've never met will read this, you might as well speak your mind about whatever the hell you want, silly or serious...go for it...or not: Music is one of the greatest things ever. It is for the musicians and for you and no one can tell you what to like and what not to like and what is in and what is not.I don't know what im saying hopefully someone gets it.
