DROID ANNOUNCE UPCOMING FALL TOUR WITH KORN AND HELLYEAH!!!
Fresh off a successful run on this summer’s Family Values Tour, Droid will be heading out once again with FVT alums Korn and Hellyeah on the “BI%H! WE HAVE A PROBLEM” Tour. Droid tore it up on stages across America as they opened the Main Stage for most of the tour, and closed out the tour by headlining the Guitar Hero Second Stage.
Guitarist Jamie Tesseire had this to say about the upcoming tour with Korn: “DROID is very excited and grateful to get a chance to tour with two great bands like Korn and Hellyeah for the second time in a row!!! Not many new bands get a chance like this, and we will not be taking this for granted, to say the least!!!”
The band is touring to support their self-titled, debut CD, which hit streets in early July 2007. The album was released on Emotional Syphon Recordings, founded by Korn’s James “Munky” Shaffer.
“I am proud to announce, that by popular demand, Droid will be performing on the upcoming Korn tour. I can't tell you how proud I am to witness the rise of such an incredible band,” said Munky.
Jamie Teissere and Bruce Childress's guitars thrash with a syncopated bone-snapping crunch. Drummer Nick McWells blasts a barrage of deadly double bass, while the bass rhythm remains bolted down by Duke. This core allows vocalist James “Buddy” Eason to channel an honest brutality and propel the entire package into a dark, violent and cathartic realm.
