PLAIN WHITE T'S HIT THE ROAD WITH FALL OUT BOY ON "THE YOUNG WILD THINGS TOUR"; BAND TO PERFORM NEW SINGLE "OUR TIME NOW" ON THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO OCTOBER 10

Armed with a blockbuster hit single ("Hey There Delilah") and a gold-certified album (Every Second Counts), the juggernaut known as Plain White T's continues to steamroll ahead. The band’s latest headline-making move will take place this fall when they’ll join Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes and Cute Is What We Aim For on “The Young Wild Things Tour” which kicks off on October 18th in Columbus, OH.

The Chicago-based PWT’s, who recently won a Teen Choice Award for “Choice Summer Song,” were nominated for an MTV Video Music Award (for "Monster Single of the Year"), and were spotlighted in Time magazine, have enjoyed a string of successes lately beginning with their summer smash "Hey There Delilah" hitting #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart, as well as #1 on the iTunes Top Songs Chart (a spot which it held for four weeks). The single is currently one of the most played songs in the country across all formats. In addition, the video clip is #1 at VH1 and in heavy rotation at MTV, Fuse and MTV Hits. The momentum has also spread internationally with a gold album in the UK and #1 records in five countries (UK, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand and the Netherlands). The band will be back doing a string of headlining dates through out the UK and Europe starting in January 2008.

Wanting to give their fans a little more of themselves, The Plain White T’s recently released Every Second Counts Deluxe Edition, which includes a live concert DVD recorded earlier this year in Chicago. The audio CD also includes an exclusive bonus track: “Hold On.”

Along with their fall tour, the band’s preparing to release their new single “Our Time Now” which they will perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on October 10th. The single will also be introduced to fans as ESPN’s theme song for their college football coverage.

In other band news, the quintet is returning for the second season of GREEK. The band will tape their first episode for season two on September 26 in Los Angeles. The episode will air in early 2008.
